Rescue Beauty Lounge Fan Collection IKB:2012 Comparison Post

Today's manicure is a giant comparison post of doom!  I got my new Rescue Beauty Lounge Fan Collection package (I ordered three out of the four).  Great bloggers have already photographed their manicures with these polishes, and blue is so friggin' hard to photograph accurately, but I decided to take all of the polishes that pundits had mentioned as possible dupes and throw them on for y'all.
I did discover that Wet n Wild Craze in Tagger (an HTF LE East Coast only Wet n Wild) and Nails Inc Baker Street are dead dupes, for what that's worth.
I don't believe that IKB:2012 has an exact dupe.  Royal Navy is close, but a bit more saturated and with the teal shimmer.  Barry M Indigo is noticeably deeper.  WnW Tagger and Nails Inc Baker Street are a shade lighter.  MAC Breezy Blue is pretty close, but is not a jelly and has more purple.  Nubar Blueberry is way more smurf-colored than any of these others (It made me think of the OCC Rx I once swatched, but didn't buy and thus can't compare).  But see for yourself:
All of these swatches are one coat of SpaRitual Lacquer Lock bc, one coat of CND Stickey bc, two coats of polish, and one coat of Seche Vite.

Lynnderella Sweets to the Sweet

Indoors in artificial lighting:

Outdoors in full sun:

Today's manicure is Lynnderella Sweets to the Sweet over NARS Rouge Andalou. Sweets to the Sweet is a sheer white base with white square glitter, sheer white square and hex glitter, red, purple, blue, and iridescent green glitters of various shapes and sizes. The glitter in this one is a bit sparse. The candy vibe I got from the bottle led me to pair it with a shiny candy apple red base (Rouge Andalou aka Red Dog).
This manicure is one coat of SpaRitual Lacquer Lock bc, one coat of CND Stickey bc, two coats of Rouge Andalou, three coats of Sweets to the Sweet, and one coat of Seche Vite.

Lynnderella Boy-Girl Party

Indoors in artificial light:

Outdoors in full sun:

Today's manicure is Lynnderella Boy-Girl Party over Butter London The Black Knight. Boy-Girl Party is a dense glitter bomb of red, blue, pink, turquoise multi-sized square and bar glitters with holo diamond glitters in a almost clear, pinkish base.
The Black Knight is a sheerish black base loaded with red, blue, pink, and gold fine glitter.

This combo was someone else's suggestion. They complement each other well as the have the same glitter color palette and the black is a good canvas to showcase the color play.
This manicure is one coat CND Stickey bc, two coats of The Black Knight, one coat of Boy-Girl Party, and two coats of Seche Vite.

Lynnderella Bride of Franken

Today's manicure is Lynnderella Bride of Franken over China Glaze Tempest.
Bride of Franken is a super sheer purple tinted clear polish with some weird stuff in it. I believe there's a little holo glitter, some iridescent hex glitter that flashes blue and purple and a sort of swampy green-brown color. It's an odd combination of barely there and over the top. I'm not sure that I selected the right base for it, because the frostiness makes the manicure read sloppy to me. Maybe it would be better over a more stolid base like a black (though maybe you can only use stolid to describe humans and not colors...sober, then?)
I am loving the new blogger feature I just discovered last night. If you enlarge a blogpost photo now you get a slideshow of all the photos in a post that you can scroll through quickly. It's worth checking out if you don't usually enlarge photos (since it forces you to navigate away from the blog post too many times.)
You can buy these Lynnderella polishes here: lynnderella-lynnderella.blogspot.
Lynderella posted yesterday that she's opening the shop for another sale next week (the week of Sept 19).
This mani is one coat Spa Ritual Lacquer Lock bc, one coat CND Stickey bc, two coats of ChG Tempest, two coats of Bride of Franken, and one coat of Revlon Quick Dry tc.

Lynnderella Bibbitty Bobbitty Boo Blue

Today's manicure is Lynnderella Bibbitty Bobbitty Boo Blue over Orly Royal Navy.
Bibbitty Bobbitty Boo Blue is a clear base with blue shimmer loaded with purple hex glitter, silver hex glitter, teal rectangle glitter, blue hex glitter, blue square glitter, and tiny blue glitter. It's pretty freakin awesome and may be my favorite so far (though I really like Gotta Love Brains). I think Lynnderella's glitters that have shimmer in the base are my favorite because it just adds another layer of interest.
