China Glaze Capitol Colors Hunger Games Riveting and Electrify

In honor of the upcoming film and the story's heroine, the girl on fire, Katniss Everdeen, I am wearing two colors from the new Hunger Games collection from China Glaze. Riveting is a fiery red-orange macroshimmer with gold flash, similar to an old China Glaze release, Orange-Pacific. Electrify is a mixture of gold glitter and chunkier red glitter in a clear base.
Have you gotten tickets for the midnight show yet?
This manicure is one coat of SpaRitual Lacquer Lock bc, one coat of CND Stickey bc, one coat of Riveting (two on the middle finger), one coat of Electrify (on all fingers except the middle), and one coat of Seche Vite.

Lynnderella Very Pretty Vampire

Today's manicure is Lynnderella Very Pretty Vampire layered over Wet n Wild Buy Me a Drink from the recently released On the Prowl collection.
Very Pretty Vampire is a clear base with large red hex and square glitters, small red hex glitter, small black hex glitter, small magenta hex glitter, orange square glitter, and black, magenta, and red glitters. The glitter is a little more sparse than it is is Cauldron Drippings or Bibbitty Bobbitty Boo Blue.
You can buy these Lynnderella polishes here: lynnderella-lynnderella.blogspot.
Lynderella posted yesterday that she's opening the shop for another sale next week (the week of Sept 19).
This mani is one coat Spa Ritual Lacquer Lock bc, one coat CND Stickey bc, two coats of WnW Buy Me a Drink, two coats of Very Pretty Vampire, and one coat of Revlon Quick Dry tc.

Lynnderella Cauldron Drippings

Today's manicure is Lynnderella Cauldron Drippings layered over Lippmann Collection Brick House.
My Cauldron Drippings has black, white, and orange bar glitter, purple and orange hex glitter, large green square glitter, purple and orange square glitter, silver and blue and yellow glitters, tiny black glitter (plus a million more glitters). I believe Lynnderella described this color as being a mix of random drippings - don't know if this means that despite the consistent domination of orange glitters that the other glitters represented might be more variable between batches.
This mani is one coat Spa Ritual Lacquer Lock bc, one coat CND Stickey bc, two coats of Lippmann Brick House, one coat of Cauldron Drippings, one coat of Out the Door tc, and one coat of Seche Vite tc.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Piu Mosso

As I said previously, I only ordered two of the Rescue Beauty Lounge “L’Oiseau de Feu” or Firebird Collection after examining the swatches on Scrangie, ALU, and AKA. I already reviewed Pizzicato. This appeared to be stand out shade of the collection. Poco a Poco made me think of the recent Essie Lion Around, so I'm waiting on comparison swatches on that one. Fortissimo just seemed kinda boring.
This mani is RBL Piu Mosso. Piu Mosso is a deep dark smoky indigo base absolutely loaded with red, orange, and pinkish shimmer (I swear there's even a little blue and green shimmer).
In low light, it just kinda looks like a black creme. A little more light makes it look inky with a bit of pinkish shimmer. In bright artificial light, the firey shimmer and blue base combine to make the polish look positively purple. The base and shimmer contrast is totally unique and interesting. The formula on this was great and really needed only one coat.
This mani is one coat Spa Ritual Lacquer Lock bc, one coat CND Stickey bc, two coats of polish, and one coat of Seche Vite tc.

Hard Candy Walmart Halloween LE

I happened to run into the three new Hard Candy Walmart Halloween bottles - Wicked, Zombie, and Mischief, when I spotted a Walmart off the freeway in SGV and made a quick detour. These polishes are a little thick and goopy, but didn't really give too many application problems and they have pretty good coverage. All of these swatches are three coats.

Wicked

Mischief

Zombie

Comparisons:
Mischief is a pretty generic shade, I have more than five black loaded with silver glitter, so I picked the ones with denser glitter for comparison.

Wicked is a bright orange glitter loaded into a greenish sheer black base. It's pretty similar to China Glaze Ick-A-Bod-Y from their current halloween collection (Awakening 2010) but the glitter is a little brighter and more dense.

Zombie had two dupes right there at Walmart. Pure Ice Cheatin and Nicole by OPI Gone Wishin. I couldn't bring myself to buy three identical bottles, but i did get the cheaper Cheatin to do a comparison. Cheatin is pretty much the same, but much less dense. It would take several extra coats to build to the same opacity as the Hard Candy.

These pictures were all taken indoors with an artificial light source.

BB Couture La Bamba

Today's manicure is BB Couture La Bamba. La Bamba is a burnt orange creme with incredibly subtle shimmer. It doesn't really show up indoors. This polish is incredibly sheer. I still have VNL with three coats. As such, I think this might qualify as an orange jelly.
I am feeling meh about this one. I love the color burnt orange, but it isn't jelly enough I guess - seems like it might as well be a poorly pigmented creme.
This mani is one coat SpaRitual resurface basecoat, three coats of polish, and one coat BB Couture Top Rock top coat.

This picture makes the polish appear more orange than in real life:
