Lynnderella Lovey Dovey

You should be able to purchase Lynnderella's new collection, Lovely is as Lovely Does, here in the near future:
llarowe.com
Today's manicure is Lynnderella Lovey Dovey over Essie Armed & Ready.
Lovey Dovey is a smokey sheer base with lavender purple large hex and square glitters, silver large hex, dusty pink square glitter and a hint of shimmer.
Pictures taken outdoors in full sun:

This polish was another case that mixed neutral elements with purple color, so instead of going for the complement of purple as a base, I decided to play up the neutral elements in the base of the polish so the purple would function as an accent color.
This manicure is one coat CND Stickey bc, two coats of Armed and Ready, two coats of Lovey Dovey, and one coat of Seche Vite.

Glitter Gal 10 to Midnight

Today's manicure is Glitter Gal 10 to Midnight. 10 to Midnight is a silvery grey base with linear holographic particles. Indoors it looks like a gunmetal grey shimmer, but outdoors in the sunlight the holo shows up like so:

This mani is one coat Spa Ritual Lacquer Lock bc, one coat CND Stickey bc, two coats of 10 to Midnight, one coat of Revlon Quick Dry tc, and one coat of Seche Vite tc.

Lynnderella Mysterious Ways

Today's manicure is Lynnderella Mysterious Ways over Cult Nails My Kind of Cool Aid. My Kind of Cool Aid is also a greyed purple, but it is a much more saturated hue. Here's my post on Cool Aid: Cult Nails My Kind of Cool Aid.
Mysterious Ways is, in my opinion, one of the shades that Lynnderella does best. It's an ethereal, pale, fascinating lacquer in the vein of Gotta Love Brains and Snow Angel. I love these because I feel like they're something that nobody else does (with the exception of the incredibly lame but cool in the bottle Lippmann Glitter in the Air). Mysterious Ways is a smoky grey slightly lavender tinged sheer base with holo glitter, hex, and square glitters and white, silver, and gunmetal glitters. I included my cloudy and sun pics, since the only thing the overcast weather obscured was the holo, and I thought moody whether suited this polish.
This mani is one coat Spa Ritual Lacquer Lock bc, one coat CND Stickey bc, one coat of My Kind of Cool Aid, two coats of Mysterious Ways, one coat of Revlon Quick Dry tc, and one coat of Seche Vite.

Lynnderella Gotta Love Brains

Today's manicure is Lynnderella Gotta Love Brains layered over CND Colours Blueberry Whip.
Gotta Love Brains is a milky grey jelly base with purple iridescent shimmer containing large and small silver hex glitter, square silver glitter, two sizes of lavender hex glitter, large salmon hex glitter, silver bar glitter, and blue hex glitter (that's all I spotted). It's a bit like a super awesome take on Lippmann Collection Glitter in the Air on steroids.
This mani is one coat Spa Ritual Lacquer Lock bc, one coat CND Stickey bc, one coat of CND Blueberry Whip, two coat of Gotta Love Brains, one coat of Out the Door tc, and one coat of Seche Vite tc.

Strange Beautiful Volume 4 Series. Inspiration: Caribou Taxidermy

Today's manicure is two different colors from StrangeBeautiful Color Volume 4.
They are the greige (grey-beige), taupe-y, mushroom inspired, grey ones. I am presenting them together because they are complimentary colors and share the same inspiration.
Jane's Inspiration:
The gradation of color on the fur of a taxidermy caribou head

These are nice sedate two coat cremes. I have a few colors like this in my collection. Ever since You Don't Know Jacques, Metro Chic, and then Particuliere, it seems like greige, putty, and taupe are the modern antidote to the sometimes boring office appropriate classics - nude, french manicure, pink, and red. They are still a little sedate for me to go crazy collecting them, but they're great for interviews, office jobs, and other serious endeavors. I have included a bottle lineup for comparison. The closest match is the darker of these with OPI YDKJ, but YDKJ is a shade darker.
This mani is one coat Nubar Nu Nails, two coats of polish, and one coat of Nubar Diamont top coat.
