Hard Candy Walmart Mr. Right

Today's manicure is Hard Candy Walmart Mr. Right.
Mr. Right is a vampy navy shimmer that looks black in low light. You catch the shimmer (as seen in these photos) in bright fluorescent lighting or sunlight.
I noticed a similarity between this and Chanel Blue Satin on my swatch wheel. They may not be exact dupes, but indoors they look identical and I think that this Hard Candy polish would make a great low cost alternative (see bottle comparison pics).

Hard Candy Walmart Frenzy

Today's manicure is Hard Candy Walmart Frenzy.
Frenzy is a teal creme. I took about a million pictures, because this polish shade was really hard to capture in photographs. It's a dirty robin's egg blue - sort of a saturated tiffany blue shade. Like this:

Most of my pictures came out totally light blue without the yellow/green tinge that makes this polish look unique:

Hard Candy Walmart Envy

Today's manicure is Hard Candy Walmart Envy.
Envy is a dark and vampy green polish that appears creme in low lighting but is actually a shimmer. Indoors it generally looks like a soft black creme. These pictures are more accurate to how the polish looks in direct sunlight.
This polish reminds me of a super-blackened China Glaze Emerald Sparkle. It's much more subtle. If it's too subtle for you, you may prefer Emerald Sparkle.
I also think it's funny that the ring looks like it was made for NARS Zulu instead of this darker green shimmer.

Hard Candy Walmart Sweet P

Today's manicure is Hard Candy Walmart Sweet P.
Sweet P is a golden green dense microglitter polish. This is three coats and there is still visible nail line and bald spots. Based on its coverage, I think this polish would be better suited to layering than wearing alone.

Hard Candy Walmart Splendid

Today's manicure is Hard Candy Walmart Splendid.
Splendid is a bright sunflower yellow creme. Like most yellow cremes, this applied streaky and required three coats for coverage.

Hard Candy Walmart Information Update

Since I am blogging these polishes right now, I thought some readers might like to know that these 16 Hard Candy polishes are now available on Walmart's website. I wish I had known that was coming before I treked around to Walmarts trying to find the HC display, but Walmart doesn't sell any other polish brands online, so I didn't know this would be the exception.

In classic Walmart fashion, none of the polishes are listed with their names (Lava is called "orange") and there are 17 rather than 16 shown (but one isn't really a polish - it's a loose glitter). I don't know much about walmart.com in terms of cs and shipping time, but I think it's preferable to going into the store. Hope this helps.

Hard Candy Walmart Lava

Today's manicure is Hard Candy Walmart Lava.
Lava is a reddish orange shimmery foil. I think it's gorgeous. It looks lit from within and really resembles hot lava. This is three coats, but it looked fine with two.
