Chanel Vert Sacrilege

Today's manicure is a layered combination. I took yesterday's mani - RBL Orbis Non Sufficit and topped it with Chanel Vert Sacrilege. Why? When I swatched Vert Sacrilege on my nail wheel it was very sheer and required four coats to get close to bottle color. I decided it would enhance the polish (and be less wasteful) if I layered it over a tonal creme.
I don't know how old Chanel Vert Sacrilege is, but it is very difficult to find. I have never seen it listed on eBay. Vert Sacrilege is a metallic green frost with brighter green microshimmer. The frost finish does show brushstrokes, but it's not awful.
This mani is one coat SpaRitual Resurface base coat, one coat Rescue Beauty Lounge Orbis Non Sufficit, two coats Chanel Vert Sacrilege, and one coat of SpaRitual Tout de Suite top coat.

In the shade. I think it might look best this way. It looks smoother because you can't see the brush strokes.

  1. This is really nice being layered. Too bad it can´t be worn alone..

  2. Pretty manicure. I hate when beautiful shades are so sheer.
